Julian Olivarez is running to raise $1,000 for this year’s relay run from Dallas to Austin during Mental Health Awareness Month to promote mental health awareness and support efforts to prevent suicide. Before discovering running, he used distractions to avoid confronting his thoughts. Now, he embraces it as a way to gain strength and purpose in life. He hopes this relay inspires others to face their battles head-on and find the support they need.
